Test A: No Communication With Driver Door Module (DDM)

NOTE: Cycle ignition switch from OFF to RUN to enable the switched system power feature.
  1. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect DDM harness 12-pin connector C501A. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Measure voltage between ground and DDM harness connector C201C terminals No. 11 (Orange wire) and 12 (Orange/Blue wire). See Figure . If 10 volts or more exist, go to next step. If 10 volts or less exist, repair open in appropriate wire(s). See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
  2. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Measure resistance between ground and DDM connector C501A terminals No. 7 (Brown/Blue wire) and 8 (Black/Orange wire). See If all resistances are 5 ohms or less, see MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK - LS article to diagnose network fault. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms at either terminal, repair open in appropriate wire(s). See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
