Accessing Parameter Identification (PID)

Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Connect New Generation Star (NGS) tester to Data Link Connector (DLC). Following manufacturers instructions enter PID/DATA MONITOR AND RECORD for desired module. Operate appropriate system and ensure PID expected values are obtained. See appropriate table under PARAMETER IDENTIFICATION (PID) DEFINITIONS  .
