Test Equipment

In order to read Parameter Identification (PID) values, a New Generation Star (007-00500 ) scan tool or other OBD-II compliant scan tool is required. A DVOM, 104-pin Breakout Box (014-00950 ) (if available) and appropriate adapter cable are used to check PCM pin values. If a breakout box is not available, PCM pin values can be checked by backprobing PCM connector.
