Test B: No Communication With Driver's Seat Module
- Check fuse No. 39 (10-amp) in instrument panel fuse box. If fuse is okay, go to next step. If fuse is blown, perform TEST A: NO COMMUNICATION WITH DRIVER'S DOOR MODULE .
- Measure voltage at input side of fuse No. 39 in instrument panel fuse box. If battery voltage exist, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, perform TEST A: NO COMMUNICATION WITH DRIVER'S DOOR MODULE .
- Install fuse No. 39. Disconnect Driver's Seat Module (DSM) 26-pin harness connector C342. Measure voltage at terminal No. 14 (Black/White wire) at DSM harness connector C342. If more than 10 volts exists, go to next step. If 10 volts or less exists, repair open in Black/White wire.
- Measure resistance between ground and DSM harness connector C342 terminal No. 1 (Black/Light Green wire). If resistance is 5 ohms or less, repair module communications fault. See MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK - CONTINENTAL article. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, repair open in Black/Light Green wire.
