Power Window Master Switch
- Remove master switch. See POWER WINDOW SWITCH under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Check continuity between master window switch connector C509 terminals No. 1 and 2 in all switch positions. See Fig 1 . If there is continuity in any position, replace switch. If there is no continuity, go to next step.
- With master window switch at rest, check continuity between master window switch connector C509 terminals No. 1, 3, 4, 6 and 7. Check continuity between master window switch connector C510 terminals No. 4, 5, 6 and 7. If there is no continuity between any specified terminals, replace switch. If there is continuity between all specified terminals, go to next step.
- Check continuity between appropriate master window switch connector and terminals with switch in appropriate position. See MASTER SWITCH TESTING table. If continuity is not as specified, replace switch.
