Test B: Door Locks Are Inoperative Using Remote Transmitter
- Operate Door Locks From Driver Door Lock Switch - Operate door locks from driver door lock switch. If doors lock and unlock, go to next step. If doors do not lock and unlock, perform TEST E: ALL DOOR LOCKS INOPERATIVE/DO NOT OPERATE PROPERLY under SYSTEM TESTING in DOOR LOCKS & TRUNK RELEASE - POWER article.
- Check Remote Transmitter Decklid Release & Panic Button Operation - Press remote transmitter decklid release and panic buttons. If either remote transmitter buttons operate, go to next step. If remote transmitters buttons do not operate, replace remote transmitter batteries. If remote transmitter still does not operate, reprogram remote transmitter. See REMOTE TRANSMITTER under PROGRAMMING. If remote transmitter still does not operate, replace driver door module and retest system operation.
- Check Remote Transmitter Lock Button Using NGS Tester - Using NGS tester, monitor DDM FUNCTION TEST TIC/DATA while pressing remote transmitter lock button. If NGS tester indicates last received data is LOCK, replace driver door module and retest system operation. If NGS tester does not indicate last received data is LOCK, replace remote transmitter. Reprogram remote transmitters. See REMOTE TRANSMITTER under PROGRAMMING. Retest system operation.
