Coil Spring: Installation
To install coil spring, reverse removal procedure. Before compressing spring, ensure upper ball nut securing pin in spring compressor is inserted properly. Compress coil spring until length measured earlier is reached. When installing lower front pivot bushing bolt, ensure washer is placed on inside of front pivot bushing, next to rear of bushing, inside frame bracket. Tighten all bolts and nuts to specification. To install coil spring, reverse removal procedure. Tighten lower control arm bolts when vehicle is lowered to ground and suspension is supporting weight of vehicle. Tighten all bolts and nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
