Set Speed Fluctuates

  1. Check Actuator Cable

    Inspect actuator cable and throttle linkage for binding. Repair as necessary. If no binding exists, replace servo.

  2. Check Speedometer Operation

    Test drive vehicle. If speedometer needle does not waver, replace speed control servo. If speedometer needle wavers more than 2 MPH from true speed, fault may exist in Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS).
