Description & Operation

The power memory seat/mirror system allows storage of 2 seat/mirror positions into memory. Seat and outside mirrors will automatically move to preset position(s) by pressing button No. 1 or 2. The mirrors and seat will not operate unless transmission is in Park or Neutral.

The optional inside electronic dimming rear view mirror is controlled by 2 light-sensitive photocells. Outside light level is measured by a sensor on backside of mirror housing. A second sensor, located on reflective side of mirror, detects approaching rear lights. The mirror switches to normal state whenever transmission gear selector is placed in Reverse position. The driver's side outside rear view mirror is available with a similar glare reduction system as an option.

Power side view mirror system consists of mirror head with integral servomotor assembly. Memory mirror is controlled by Driver Door Module (DDM) and Driver Seat Module (DSM). Both glass and servo can be replaced separately.
