Window Motor R & I: Installation

  1. Assemble window drive motor to regulator assembly. Tighten motor-to-regulator bolts to 44-79 INCH lbs. (5-9 N.m). With window glass still supported in full up position, install window regulator. Install NEW rivets. Install regulator equalizer arm bracket on window regulator. Install retaining nuts and washers until snug (DO NOT  tighten fully).
  2. Install NEW rivets securing window glass to window channel bracket. Connect window motor wiring connector. Lower window glass 3.00" (76.2 mm) from full up position. Seat window glass into door glass top run. Push regulator equalizer arm bracket down and tighten nuts to 89-124 INCH lbs. (10-14 N.m). Install watershield and door trim panel. Open and close window to verify proper operation.
