Test F: Abs Indicator Does Not Self-Check

  1. Disconnect ABS control module connector. Turn ignition on. If ABS warning light illuminates, go to next step. If ABS warning light does not illuminate, check bulb connectors and wiring as necessary. See appropriate INSTRUMENT PANELS article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT.
  2. Reconnect ABS control module connector. Turn ignition on. If ABS warning light illuminates for 3 seconds and then turns off, system is operating properly. If ABS warning light does not illuminate as described, replace ABS control module and retest system.
