Test F: No Communication Module - Speed Control Servo/Actuator
- Check Fuse - Check condition of instrument panel fuse block fuse No. 34 (15-amp). If fuse is okay, go to next step. If fuse is not okay, replace fuse and retest system operation. If fuse fails again, repair short to ground in Red/Black wire. Retest system operation.
- Check Red/Black Wire For Open - Turn ignition off. Disconnect speed control servo/actuator connector C152 (located on left shock tower). Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Using a voltmeter, check voltage between ground and speed control servo/actuator connector C152 terminal No. 7. See Figure . If voltage is more than 10 volts, go to next step. If voltage is 10 volts or less, repair open in Red/Black wire. Retest system operation.
- Check Black Wire For Open - Using an ohmmeter, check resistance between ground and speed control servo/actuator connector C152 terminal No. 10. See Figure . If resistance is less than 5 ohms, see appropriate MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK article to continue diagnosis. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, repair open in Black wire. Retest system operation.
