Master Cylinder: Installation

Position master cylinder onto mounting studs. Tighten master cylinder-to-booster mounting nuts to specification. Connect brakelines and proportioning valve bracket. Tighten master cylinder fittings to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Install connector bracket. Fill reservoir with DOT 3 brake fluid. Bleed brake system using procedure specified in BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM . Operate brake several times. Check for leaks.
