Test G: Abs Warning Light And Traction Control Indicator Always On

  1. Check for DTC(s)

    Using New Generation Star (NGS) tester, retrieve any stored DTC(s). If any DTC(s) are stored, service in numerical order. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE DEFINITIONS  . If no DTC(s) are stored, go to next step.

  2. Check Hybrid Electronic Instrument Cluster (HEIC) For Stored DTC(s)

    Using NGS tester, follow manufacturer's instruction and perform HEIC self-test. See ON-DEMAND SELF-TEST  under DIAGNOSIS. If DTC U1123 and/or U1136 are stored, replace ABS control module. If DTC U1123 and/or U1136 are not stored, replace HEIC. After repair, retest system.
