Test F: No Abs Indicator On When Ignition Is On

  1. Check ABS Warning Light

    Disconnect ABS control module connector. Turn ignition on. If ABS warning light illuminates, go to next step. If ABS warning light does not illuminate, check bulb connectors and wiring as necessary. See INSTRUMENT PANELS - ANALOG article in the ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT section.

  2. ABS Warning Light System Retest

    Reconnect ABS control module connector. Turn ignition on. If ABS warning light illuminates for 3 seconds and then turns off, system is operating properly. If ABS warning light does not illuminate as described, replace ABS control module and retest system.
