Test M: Driver Seat AUTOGLIDE Does Not Work Properly

  1. Test Seat Operation  - Operate driver seat in all directions. If driver seat operates smoothly and completely in all directions, go to next step. If seat does not operate smoothly and completely in all directions, repair driver seat. See SYMPTOM CHART  table.
  2. Test PID AGLIDEF  - Connect NGS tester to data link connector. Access driver seat module PID AGLIDEF. Move driver seat forward and rearward, while observing NGS display. If NGS does not display ACTIVE, go to next step. If NGS displays ACTIVE, go to step 5).
  3. Test Black/Light Blue Wire For Open  - Disconnect driver seat control switch connector. See Figure . Check resistance in Black/Light Blue wire between driver seat back switch harness connector and ground. If resistance is 5 ohms or less, go to next step. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, repair open in Black/Light Blue.
  4. Test Dark Green/Orange Wire For Open  - Disconnect driver seat module connector C350. See Figure . Check resistance in Dark Green/Orange wire between driver seat module harness connector C350 and driver seat back switch harness connector. If resistance is 5 ohms or less, go to next step. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, repair open in Dark Green/Orange wire.
  5. Test PID AGLIDER  - Access driver seat module PID AGLIDER. Move driver seat back rearward, while observing NGS display. If NGS display did not read ACTIVE, go to next step. If NGS display read ACTIVE, replace driver seat module.
  6. Test Black/Light Blue Wire For Open  - Disconnect driver seat control switch connector. Check resistance in Black/Light Blue wire between driver seat back switch harness connector and ground. If resistance is 5 ohms or less, go to next step. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, repair open in Black/Light Blue.
  7. Test Dark Blue/Yellow Wire For Open  - Disconnect driver seat module connector C350. Check resistance in Dark Blue/Yellow wire between driver seat module harness connector C350 and driver seat back switch harness connector. If resistance is 5 ohms or less, driver seat back switch. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, repair open in Dark Blue/Yellow wire.
