Arming System
Remove key from ignition switch. Open any door. Alarm indicator will start flashing as a reminder to arm system. Lock doors by pressing LOCK button on transmitter or by pressing door lock switch in car or by pressing last 2 buttons (7/8 and 9/0) of keyless entry pad (if equipped). Anti-theft indicator will glow steady. Close all doors. Alarm indicator light will remain on steadily for about 30 seconds and then go out. System is now armed.
NOTE:
Ensure all doors are closed completely. If any door is not closed completely, alarm indicator light will remain on. Anti-theft system is armed only after alarm indicator light remains on steadily for about 30 seconds after last door is closed, and then goes out.
