Removal & Installation

Release fuel pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE  . Remove fuel rail from intake manifold. See FUEL RAILS  . Remove fuel injectors from fuel rail by rocking injectors while pulling injector from fuel rail. Lubricate new "O" rings with clean engine oil. Install new "O" rings on injectors. Inspect injector end cap (covering the injector pintle) and washer for deterioration. Replace as necessary.
