Retrieving Codes

NOTE: A New Generation Star (NGS) tester is required for testing the power seat system.

Before beginning any testing, retrieve any existing Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) from driver's door module and driver's seat module. See ON-DEMAND SELF-TEST in MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK. article. Make any repairs that may be indicated. See appropriate code related PINPOINT TESTS. Proceed to the appropriate symptom related PINPOINT TEST. If any DTC begins with the letter "U", refer to the MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK article.
