Pinpoint Test E - Abs Pump Runs Continuously

  1. With vehicle standing still, check for pump motor operation with ignition switch in ON and OFF positions. Disconnect ABS control module 55-pin connector. See COMPONENT LOCATIONS  . If pump stops operating, replace ABS control module. If pump continues to operate, go to next step.
  2. Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect 4-pin pump motor relay connector. Connect Breakout Box (014-00322) and ABS Adapter (T90P-50-ALA). Check for continuity between breakout box test pins No. 15 and 60. If continuity does not exist, replace pump motor relay. If continuity exists, repair circuit No. 539 (Pink/Light Blue wire).
