Hood Switch

Ensure hood and switch are properly adjusted. Using a digital volt-ohmmeter, measure resistance between anti-theft control module connector pin No. 26 and ground. See Figure . Resistance should be more than 25,000 ohms with hood closed, and less than 200 ohms with hood open. If resistance is not to specification, replace hood switch or repair circuit.
