Quick Checks

  1. Inspect for damaged fuel tank, sufficient coolant, engine oil, and washer fluid. Inspect accessory drive belt for proper tension and good condition. Correct any obvious mechanical concerns before condemning instrument cluster as defective.
  2. Inspect all fuses. Replace as necessary. Inspect wiring. Inspect for defective switches or sensors. Inspect for stuck fluid level sensors. Correct any obvious electrical concerns before condemning instrument cluster as defective.
