Head Restraints

The head restraint has a single post which has a notch to engage a spring-loaded catch in the mounting bracket assembly. The mounting bracket assembly retains the post and guide sleeve. The mounting bracket assembly is welded to the seat back assembly. Each front seat is equipped with a single post design head restraint. An adjustable head restraint is used and can be positioned anywhere from a normal position to a raised position of approximately 25mm (1 inch). Pulling up on the restraint will raise it. Pushing down will return it to the normal position. See Fig 1 .
