Removal & Installation
- Disconnect battery ground cable. Open luggage compartment deck lid. Remove 2 screws attaching module to the package tray. Remove module. See Figure and Figure . To install, reverse removal procedure. On Cougar and Thunderbird, remove control module from relay panel located at left side luggage compartment. See Figure .
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Retest system. On Town Car, disconnect battery ground cable. Remove right front kick panel. Module can be identified by Tan color. Remove 2 screws securing module. To install, reverse removal procedure. Retest system.
