Adjustment - Float Level

  1. Remove upper body assembly. Remove upper body gasket. If necessary, construct a gauge to specified float level setting. Turn upper body assembly upside-down.
  2. Using gauge, measure distance from surface of upper body to bottom of float. See Fig 1 . To adjust, bend fuel level adjustment tab away from inlet needle to decrease setting, and toward inlet needle to increase setting. See CARBURETOR ADJUSTMENT SPECIFICATIONS table.
