Fuel Injected Models

  1. With engine off, set parking brake and block wheels. Disconnect and plug automatic parking brake vacuum hose (if equipped). Turn all accessories off. Connect timing light to engine. Disconnect single in-line SPOUT connector near TFI module at distributor. Wire color of SPOUT connector is Yellow/Light Green.
  2. Start engine and warm to normal operating temperature. Place transmission in Drive (auto. trans.) or Neutral (man. trans.). With engine at timing RPM, check basic ignition timing.
