Fuel Injected Models
- With engine off, set parking brake and block wheels. Disconnect and plug automatic parking brake vacuum hose (if equipped). Turn all accessories off. Connect timing light to engine. Disconnect single in-line SPOUT connector shorting bar near TFI module at distributor. Wire color of SPOUT connector is Yellow/Light Green.
- Start engine and warm to normal operating temperature. Place transmission in Drive (auto. trans.) or Neutral (man. trans.). With engine at timing RPM, adjust timing. Turn off engine, disconnect timing light and reconnect single in-line SPOUT connector.
