Microcomputer Module

The microcomputer module is mounted behind the right rear trim panel in the luggage compartment. It controls the compressor relay and vent solenoid. The microcomputer module also controls power and ground to the rotary sensor. The module provides a 7-13 second time delay before any circuit can be completed.

The microcomputer module monitors air suspension system through inputs from the height sensor and ignition circuits. It limits compressor run time to 2 minutes and exhaust solenoid time to one minute. This function is to limit continuous compressor operation in case of a severe system leak or a malfunctioning exhaust valve. The timer function is reset when ignition key is cycled to the "OFF" and "RUN" positions.
