Alternator Indicator

Disconnect alternator voltage regulator. Connect a jumper wire between terminal "I" and ground. Turn ignition on. Indicator bulb should glow at full brightness. 2 If bulb does not come on, check bulb for continuity and replace if necessary. If bulb is not burned out, check wiring between ignition switch and regulator. Check 500-ohm resistor across indicator light.
