Control Module

The ECM is mounted in the trunk. It controls the air compressor motor vent solenoid through a relay. The ECM controls power and ground to the rotary sensor. The ECM provides a 7-13 second time delay before any circuit can be completed.

ECM monitors air suspension system through inputs from the height sensor and ignition circuits. It limits compressor run time to 2 minutes and exhaust solenoid time to 1 minute.

This function is to limit continuous compressor operation in case of severe system leak or a malfunctioning exhaust valve. The timer function is reset when ignition key is turned to the "OFF" and "RUN" positions.
