System Check-Out

If system does not operate properly, check and test components in the following order:

1. Check circuit breaker for current "in" and "out". Check for current feed to switch on seat in both switch positions.
2. At motor, test harness for continuity between switch and motor connections. If continuity OK, perform motor test as outlined above.
3. If system checks OK electrically at all components and motor runs in either direction, check for binding or defects in mechanical components.
