Inspection [09/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT ECO RUN CANCEL SWITCH (ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE SWITCH ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Inspect the eco run cancel switch (electric parking brake switch assembly):
      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        6 (S) - 7 (E) Eco run cancel switch (electric parking brake switch assembly) being pushed and held Below 50 Ω
        Eco run cancel switch (electric parking brake switch assembly) not pushed 10 kΩ or higher

        *a Component without harness connected
        (Eco Run Cancel Switch (Electric Parking Brake Switch Assembly))

        If the result is not as specified, replace the eco run cancel switch (electric parking brake switch assembly).
