DTC P0710-00: Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor "A" Circuit Range/Performance [10/2018 - 10/2019]: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Transmission / Trouble Codes.

   Powertrain > Transmission > Trouble Codes 

5. Read the DTCs using the Techstream.

   HINT: 

   If any DTCs other than P071000 are output, perform troubleshooting for those DTCs first.

   Result

   DTC P071000 and other DTCs are output	B

Result:

GO TO DTC CHART. Refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [10/2018 - 10/2019]

1. Check the CVT fluid level.

   Refer to ADJUSTMENT [10/2018 - 10/2019]

   OK

   CVT fluid level is correct.

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE TRANSMISSION WIRE (CVT FLUID TEMPERATURE SENSOR). Refer to  COMPONENTS [10/2018 - 07/2022] 

Result: 

NG 

ADD FLUID. Refer to  ADJUSTMENT [10/2018 - 10/2019]
