- Check for DTCs.
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (IMMOBILISER INDICATOR)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Smart Access / Active Test.
- Perform the Active Test according to the display on the Techstream.
Body Electrical > Smart Access > Active Test

- When the immobiliser is set, check that the security indicator light (air conditioning control assembly) blinks.*1

- When the immobiliser is set, check that the security indicator light (air conditioning control assembly) blinks.*1
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) - SECURITY INDICATOR LIGHT (AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY) AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the F44 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.
- Disconnect the F28 security indicator light (air conditioning control assembly) connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Connect the F44 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.
- Connect the F28 security indicator light (air conditioning control assembly) connector.
- Using an oscilloscope, check the waveform.
