1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   *a	Component with harness connected (DCM (Telematics Transceiver))

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   J62-17 (MUTE) - Body ground	Power switch on (ACC), audio system is playing → Emergency call mode	2.0 V or higher → Below 1 V

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK

1. Disconnect the J66 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the J62 DCM (telematics transceiver) connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   J66-2 (TMUT) - J62-17 (MUTE)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   J66-2 (TMUT) or J62-17 (MUTE) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR

2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
