    HINT: 

    The power steering ECU assembly uses waterproof connectors. Therefore, voltage or waveforms cannot be checked with the connectors connected to the vehicle.

    Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description
    A18-2 (CA1L) B Low-level CAN bus line (V Bus)
    A18-3 (CA1H) G High-level CAN bus line (V Bus)
    A18-5 (TS) SB TS signal
    A18-9 (PGND) B Power ground
    A18-10 (PIG) B Power source
    A18-12 (RLY) LG EPS relay drive signal
    A18-14 (IG) B IG power source
    C5-1 (RZG) G Motor rotation angle sensor power source circuit ground
    C5-2 (SRZG) BR Motor rotation angle sensor shield ground
    C5-3 (RZV) B Motor rotation angle sensor power source
    C5-4 (TRQV) W Torque sensor power source
    C5-6 (TQG1) P Torque sensor power source circuit ground
    C5-7 (RZSN) W SIN phase input signal (Motor rotation angle sensor)
    C5-8 (RZCS) R COS phase input signal (Motor rotation angle sensor)
    C5-9 (INSN) B SIN phase input signal (Torque sensor input shaft side)
    C5-10 (INCS) R COS phase input signal (Torque sensor input shaft side)
    C5-11 (OUSN) L SIN phase input signal (Torque sensor output shaft side)
    C5-12 (OUCS) G COS phase input signal (Torque sensor output shaft side)
    C5-13 (TQG2) V Torque sensor detection circuit ground
    C4-1 (V) W V phase motor output
    C4-2 (W) R W phase motor output
    C4-3 (U) B U phase motor output
  2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS SIDE CONNECTOR

    1. Disconnect the A18, C4 and C5 power steering ECU assembly connectors.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
    Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
    A18-9 (PGND) - Body ground B - Body ground Power ground Always Below 1 Ω
    A18-12 (RLY) - Body ground LG - Body ground EPS relay source Always 9 to 16 V
    A18-14 (IG) - Body ground B - Body ground IG power source Engine switch on (IG) 8 to 16 V
    C4-1 (V) - C4-2 (W) or C4-3 (U) W - R or B V phase motor output Always Below 1 Ω
    C4-2 (W) - C4-3 (U) or C4-1 (V) R - B or W W phase motor output Always Below 1 Ω
    C4-3 (U) - C4-1 (V) or C4-2 (W) B - W or R U phase motor output Always Below 1 Ω
