On-Vehicle Inspection [09/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT HEADLIGHT CLEANER CONTROL RELAY 
    1. Disconnect the A48 Headlight cleaner control relay connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      6 (PB) - 4 (E) Battery voltage applied between terminals 3 (IG) and 2 (H) Below 1 Ω
      Battery voltage not applied between terminals 3 (IG) and 2 (H) 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight cleaner control relay.
