Interior Light Switch Signal Circuit [09/2014 - ]: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Data List.
5. Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.

   Map light assembly is normal.

REPLACE MAP LAMP ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [09/2014 - 10/2015]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [10/2015 - 11/2017]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [11/2017 - ]

1. Disconnect the O1 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   W4-18 (DOOR) - O1-27 (DMDR)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   W4-19 (CILL) - O1-28 (DMON)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   W4-20 (GND9) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

1. Disconnect the O1 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.
2. Disconnect the W4 map light assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   W4-19 (CILL) - O1-28 (DMON)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   W4-20 (GND9) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω
   W4-19 (CILL) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

1. Replace the map lamp assembly with a new or known good one.

   Refer to REMOVAL [09/2014 - 10/2015] , or refer to REMOVAL [10/2015 - 11/2017] , or refer to REMOVAL [11/2017 - ]

2. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
3. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
4. Turn the Techstream on.
5. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Data List.
6. Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.
