DTC C1582: Assist Map Number Mismatch [10/2015 - 11/2017]: Procedure

1. Check for DTCs.

   Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [10/2015 - 08/2016] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [08/2016 - 11/2017]

1. Check if the related parts have the correct part numbers.

   Related Part	ECM
   	DRS ECU (Rear steering control ECU) (w/ Dynamic Rear Steering System)
   	AVS ECU (Absorber control ECU) (w/ Adaptive Variable Suspension System)
   	VGRS ECU (Front steering control ECU) (w/ Variable Gear Ratio Steering System)

   NOTE:

   When removing a related part to check it, be sure to follow the appropriate procedures and precautions.

   • ECM

     for 2GR-FSE: Refer to REMOVAL [09/2014 - 11/2017]

     for 8AR-FTS: Refer to REMOVAL [10/2015 - ]

   • DRS ECU (Rear steering control ECU) (w/ Dynamic Rear Steering System)

     Refer to REMOVAL [09/2014 - ]

   • AVS ECU (Absorber control ECU) (w/ Adaptive Variable Suspension System)

     Refer to REMOVAL [09/2014 - ]

   • VGRS ECU (Front steering control ECU) (w/ Variable Gear Ratio Steering System)

     Refer to REMOVAL [09/2014 - ]

2. If DTC C1582 is output and parts have not been replaced, replace the power steering ECU assembly as it may have an internal malfunction.
   NOTE:

   If the power steering ECU assembly has been replaced, perform assist map writing, rotation angle sensor initialization and torque sensor zero point calibration.

   Refer to CALIBRATION [09/2014 - 09/2020]
