Removal [05/2019 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to read Precaution thoroughly before serving.

    Refer to PRECAUTION [05/2019 - ]

    NOTE:

    After turning the engine switch off, there may be a waiting time before disconnecting the negative (-) battery terminal.

    Refer to PRECAUTION [05/2019 - ]

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    WARNING:
    • Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
    • If the airbag deploys for any reason. it may cause a serious accident.
  3. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONER UNIT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [10/2014 - 07/2020] , or refer to REMOVAL [07/2020 - ]

  4. REMOVE ID CODE BOX (IMMOBILIZER CODE ECU) 
    1. Detach the claw as shown in the illustration.

    2. Detach the 2 guides and remove the ID code box (immobiliser code ECU).
