Installation [10/2023 - ]: Procedure
- INSTALL REAR STEERING LINK ASSEMBLY
- Align the 2 guide pins with the rear suspension member sub-assembly and install the rear steering link assembly with the 4 bolts.
Bolt A
Torque: 97 N.m (989 kgf/cm, 72 ft.lbf)
HINT:
Temporarily tighten the bolt B.
*a Torque Wrench Fulcrum Length - Using SST, tighten 2 bolts (B).
- SST: 09729-00170
Specified tightening torque
Torque: 97 N.m (989 kgf/cm, 72 ft.lbf)
HINT:
- Calculate the torque wrench reading when changing the fulcrum length of the torque wrench.
Refer to PRECAUTION [10/2023 - ]
- When using SST (fulcrum length of 200 mm (7.874 in.)) + torque wrench (fulcrum length of 400 mm (15.748 in.)): 64.7 N.m (660 kgf/cm, 48 ft.lbf)
- Engage the wire harness clamp and install the grommet.
- Install the nut.
Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf/cm, 71 in.lbf)
Engage the clamp.
- Connect the 2 connectors
- Align the 2 guide pins with the rear suspension member sub-assembly and install the rear steering link assembly with the 4 bolts.
- TEMPORARILY INSTALL REAR STEERING TIE ROD ASSEMBLY LH
- TEMPORARILY INSTALL REAR STEERING TIE ROD ASSEMBLY RH
HINT:
Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.
- INSTALL EXHAUST TAILPIPE ASSEMBLY
Refer to INSTALLATION [12/2017 - ]
- INSTALL BATTERY CARRIER CATCH BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY
- Install the battery carrier catch bracket sub-assembly to the luggage room panel with the 4 nuts.
Torque: 8.5 N.m (87 kgf/cm, 75 in.lbf)
- Install the battery carrier catch bracket sub-assembly to the luggage room panel with the 4 nuts.
- INSTALL LOWER INNER LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER

- INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12
- INSTALL TOOL BOX
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8
- CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
- INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11
- ECU CONFIGURATION
- If the rear steering link assembly is replaced, perform ECU software writing.

- If the rear steering link assembly is replaced, perform ECU software writing.
- CHECK BATTERY CONDITION
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
- ADJUST REAR TOE
Refer to UTILITY [10/2023 - ]
- FULLY TIGHTEN REAR STEERING TIE ROD ASSEMBLY LH
- FULLY TIGHTEN REAR STEERING TIE ROD ASSEMBLY RH
HINT:
Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.
- INSTALL REAR WHEELS

- INSPECT AND ADJUST REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT

- INSTALL NO. 1 FLOOR UNDER COVER

HINT:
When disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, there is an automatic learning function that completes learning when the respective system is used.
