Customize Parameters [12/2017 - 10/2023]

  1. CUSTOMIZE HEATED STEERING WHEEL SYSTEM 
    1. Customizing with the Techstream.
      NOTE:
      • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.
      • Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.
      • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.

      HINT: 

      The following items can be customized.

      1. Connect the Techstream.
      2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
      3. Turn the Techstream on.
      4. Enter the following menus: Customize Setting / Air Conditioner.
      5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

        Air Conditioner 

        Tester Display Description Default Setting ECU
        Steering Heater Sensitivity Adjust Adjusts the operating time of the steering wheel heater when the engine switch is turned on (IG). 0 10000:-2, 01000:-1, 00100:0, 00010:+1, 00001:+2 Air conditioning amplifier assembly
    2. Customizing with the multi-display.
      1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
      2. Enter the following menus: MENU / Setup / Vehicle / Vehicle customization / Climate settings.
      3. Select the setting by referring to the table below.
        CLIMATE SETTINGS

        Display Default Content Setting ECU
        Auto Heated Str Wheel Time 0 Adjust the operating time of the automatic steering wheel heater -2, -1, 0, +1, +2 Air conditioning amplifier assembly
