  3. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE 
    1. Measure the battery voltage.

      Standard voltage

      11 to 14 V

      If the voltage is below 11 V, replace or recharge the battery before proceeding to the next step.

  4. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM* 
    1. Use the Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

  5. CHECK BLIND SPOT MONITOR SYSTEM 
    1. Use the Techstream to check if the blind spot monitor system is functioning normally.

  8. CHECK FOR DTC* 
    1. Check for DTCs and note any codes that are output.

      Body Electrical > Advanced Parking Guidance/ICS/Intuitive P/A > Trouble Codes 

    2. Clear the DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2017 - 10/2020]

      Body Electrical > Advanced Parking Guidance/ICS/Intuitive P/A > Clear DTCs 

    3. Recheck for DTCs. Try to prompt the DTC by simulating the original activity that the DTC suggests.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2017 - 10/2020]

      Body Electrical > Advanced Parking Guidance/ICS/Intuitive P/A > Trouble Codes

      The clearance warning ECU assembly outputs DTCs for the following system. When DTCs other than those in Diagnostic Trouble Code Chart for the parking support alert system are output, refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code Chart for the relevant systems.
