DTC U1170: Lost Communication with Brake System Control Module(Chassis Local Bus) [12/2017 - 10/2020]: Procedure

1. Check for DTCs.

1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. Disconnect the A30 front active stabilizer control ECU assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   A30-6 (CN2+) - A30-7 (CN2-)	Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal	54 to 69 Ω

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE FRONT ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2017 - 09/2018]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [09/2018 - 10/2020]

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN BRANCH WIRE OR CONNECTOR 

1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. Disconnect the P8 rear active stabilizer control ECU assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   P8-6 (CN2+) - P8-7 (CN2-)	Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal	54 to 69 Ω

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE REAR ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2017 - 09/2018]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [09/2018 - 10/2020]
