DTC U0131: Lost Communication with Power Steering Control Module [12/2017 - 10/2020]: Procedure

1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. Disconnect the B1 rack and pinion power steering gear assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   B1-5 (CA2H) - B1-6 (CA2L)	Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal	54 to 69 Ω

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE RACK AND PINION POWER STEERING GEAR ASSEMBLY 

for 2WD: Refer to REMOVAL [12/2017 - 09/2018] , or refer to REMOVAL [09/2018 - 10/2020]

for AWD: Refer to REMOVAL [12/2017 - 09/2018] , or refer to REMOVAL [09/2018 - 10/2020]

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN BRANCH WIRE OR CONNECTOR
