Installation [01/2017 - 05/2023]: Procedure

1. Attach the 2 claws and install the battery state sensor assembly to the battery state sensor holder.
2. Install the battery state sensor assembly to the auxiliary battery and tighten the nut.

   Torque: 6.4 N*m (65 kgf*cm, 57 in.*lbf) 

   HINT: 

   Align the battery state sensor assembly with the position shown in the illustration and then install it.

   *a	5.0 mm (0.197 in.) or less
   	Push in a clockwise direction

3. Connect the engine wire to the battery state sensor assembly with the nut.

   Torque: 7.6 N*m (77 kgf*cm, 67 in.*lbf) 

   NOTE:

   When disconnecting the engine wire, some systems need to be initialized after the engine wire is reconnected.

   Refer to INITIALIZATION [01/2017 - 04/2020] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [04/2020 - 05/2023]

4. Connect the battery state sensor assembly connector.
5. Engage the 2 claws to connect the wire harness to the battery current sensor holder.
