DTC P1023: Camshaft Position Signal Output "B" Circuit; DTC P2614: Camshaft Position Signal Output Circuit / Open [07/2020 - ]: Procedure
- REPLACE CAMSHAFT TIMING CONTROL MOTOR WITH EDU ASSEMBLY (BANK 1 OR BANK 2)
- Replace the camshaft timing control motor with EDU assembly.
Refer to REMOVAL [07/2020 - 05/2023] , or refer to REMOVAL [05/2023 - ]
HINT:
Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing the camshaft timing control motor with EDU assembly.

- Replace the camshaft timing control motor with EDU assembly.
- CLEAR DTC
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Clear the DTCs.
Powertrain > Engine > Clear DTCs
- Turn the engine switch off and wait for at least 30 seconds.

- CHECK WHETHER DTC OUTPUT RECURS (DTC P1023 AND P2614)
- Drive the vehicle in accordance with the driving pattern described in the Confirmation Driving Pattern.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Trouble Codes.

- Read the DTCs.
