Removal [07/2020 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE REAR FLOOR SIDE MEMBER COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  2. REMOVE REAR FLOOR SIDE MEMBER COVER RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  3. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SEAL LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  4. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SEAL RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  5. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  6. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [07/2020 - 05/2023] , or refer to REMOVAL [05/2023 - ]

  8. DISCONNECT HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR CONNECTOR 
    1. Fold back the floor carpet.

      *A for Bank 1
      *B for Bank 2
    2. Disconnect the 2 heated oxygen sensor connectors.
  9. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 1) 
    1. Detach the heated oxygen sensor grommet and clamp from the vehicle body.

    2. Using SST, remove the heated oxygen sensor from the front exhaust pipe assembly.
      • SST: 09224-00012 
      NOTE:

      If the heated oxygen sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.

  10. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 2) 
    1. Detach the heated oxygen sensor grommet and clamp from the vehicle body.

    2. Using SST, remove the heated oxygen sensor from the front exhaust pipe assembly.
      • SST: 09224-00012 
      NOTE:

      If the heated oxygen sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.
