Terminals Of Ecu [08/2015 - 08/2019]

  1. CHECK SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU

    1. Disconnect the G34 and G35 ECU connectors.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      G34-7 (+B) - Body ground W - Body ground Battery Always 11 to 14 V
      G34-8 (PGND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      G35-8 (IG1) - Body ground G - Body ground Seat belt control ECU power supply Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      G35-8 (IG1) - Body ground G - Body ground Seat belt control ECU power supply Engine switch off Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the G34 and G35 ECU connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      G34-2 (MOR+) - Body ground B - Body ground Seat belt motor RH power supply Engine switch on (IG) 4.0 to 8.5 V
      G34-2 (MOR+) - Body ground B - Body ground Seat belt motor RH power supply Engine switch off Below 1 V
      G34-1 (MOR-) - Body ground SB - Body ground Seat belt motor RH power supply Engine switch on (IG) 4.0 to 8.5 V
      G34-1 (MOR-) - Body ground SB - Body ground Seat belt motor RH power supply Engine switch off Below 1 V
      G34-3 (MOL+) - Body ground R - Body ground Seat belt motor LH power supply Engine switch on (IG) 4.0 to 8.5 V
      G34-3 (MOL+) - Body ground R - Body ground Seat belt motor LH power supply Engine switch off Below 1 V
      G34-4 (MOL-) - Body ground G - Body ground Seat belt motor LH power supply Engine switch on (IG) 4.0 to 8.5 V
      G34-4 (MOL-) - Body ground G - Body ground Seat belt motor LH power supply Engine switch off Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may be malfunctioning.

  2. CHECK DRIVING SUPPORT ECU

    NOTE:
    • As disconnecting the connector to perform inspections may cause DTCs to be stored, clear DTCs after performing inspections.
    • As the connector may be damaged if a load of more than 10 kg (22 lb) is applied to it, do not apply any more load than necessary to the connector.
    1. Disconnect the G43 ECU connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      G43-30 (B) - Body ground G - Body ground IG Power supply Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      G43-30 (B) - Body ground G - Body ground IG Power supply Engine switch off Below 1 V
      G43-25 (GND) - Body ground BR - Body ground Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      G43-5 (PBSW) - Body ground GR - Body ground Pre-collision brake cancel switch assembly signal Pre-collision brake cancel switch assembly on Below 1 Ω
      G43-5 (PBSW) - Body ground GR - Body ground Pre-collision brake cancel switch assembly signal Pre-collision brake cancel switch assembly off 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

  3. CHECK DRIVER MONITOR ECU

    NOTE:

    As disconnecting the connector to perform inspections may cause DTCs to be stored, clear DTCs after performing inspections.

    1. Disconnect the G62 ECU connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      G62-1 (IG) - Body ground G - Body ground IG Power supply Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      G62-1 (IG) - Body ground G - Body ground IG Power supply Engine switch off Below 1 V
      G62-11 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the G62 ECU connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      G62-17 (LS) - Body ground LG - Body ground Driver monitor camera LED signal Engine switch on (IG) 0.4 V or higher
      G62-6 (CB+) - G62-8 (CGND) W - B Driver monitor camera power supply Engine switch on (IG) 5.5 to 6.5 V

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may be malfunctioning.

  4. CHECK LANE RECOGNITION CAMERA SENSOR ASSEMBLY

    NOTE:

    As disconnecting the connector to perform inspections may cause DTCs to be stored, clear DTCs after performing inspections.

    1. Disconnect the W12 sensor connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      W12-8 (IGB) - Body ground L - Body ground IG Power supply Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      W12-8 (IGB) - Body ground L - Body ground IG Power supply Engine switch off Below 1 V
      W12-4 (GND) - Body ground BR - Body ground Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
