Terminals Of Ecu [08/2015 - 08/2019]

  1. PARKING ASSIST ECU

    1. Disconnect the I1 and I2 parking assist ECU connectors.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      I1-1 (+B) - I1-4 (GND1) L - W-B Power source signal Always 10 to 16 V
      I1-4 (GND1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      I1-8 (IG) - I1-4 (GND1) L - W-B IG Power source signal Engine switch on (IG) 10 to 16 V
      Engine switch off Below 1 V
      I1-9 (ACC) - I1-4 (GND1) P - W-B ACC Power source signal Engine switch on (ACC) 10 to 16 V
      Engine switch off Below 1 V
      I2-7 (BLSW) - I1-4 (GND1) L - W-B Front and side monitor main switch power source signal Engine switch on (IG), wide view front and side monitor switch on 10 to 16 V
    3. Reconnect the I1 and I2 parking assist ECU connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage, resistance and waveform according to the value(s) in the table below.

      I1-10 (TX-) LG AVC-LAN communication signal - -
      I1-11(TX+) L AVC-LAN communication signal - -
      I2-36 (BCV-) - I2-35 (BGND) W - GR Front television camera ground Always Below 1 V
      I2-12 (BCV+) - I2-35 (BGND) R - GR Front television camera display signal input Engine switch on (IG), wide view front and side monitor switch on Pulse generation

      I2-35 (BGND) - I1-4 (GND1) GR - W-B Front television camera ground (shield) Always Below 1 Ω
      I2-11 (BCB+) - I2-35 (BGND) B - GR Power source to front television camera Engine switch on (IG), wide view front and side monitor switch on 5.5 to 7.05 V
    5. Using an oscilloscope, check waveform.

      HINT: 

      The video waveform changes according to the image sent by the front television camera assembly.

        Tool Setting 200 mV/DIV., 50 μsec./DIV.
        Condition Waveform A: Engine switch on (IG), wide view front and side monitor switch on and camera lens is not covered, displaying an image
      2. Waveform 2
        MEASUREMENT CONDITION

        Item Content
        Terminal No. (Symbol) I2-12 (BCV+) - I2-35 (BGND)
        Tool Setting 200 mV/DIV., 50 μsec./DIV.
        Condition Waveform B: Engine switch on (IG), wide view front and side monitor switch on and camera lens is covered, blacking out the screen.
